MarketFest in Downtown Nelson, BC

Market Fest is back for three nights this summer with many of your favorite events and vendors ready to fill your evenings with entertainment, performances, beautiful locally made products, and fun!!! Interested in helping to plan Market Fest? Email markets@ecosociety.ca or call 250 354 1909.

At the Market Fest 2013 you will find:

  • Bands on two stages playing music for all ages
  • Dance performances throughout the evening
  • Kids’ entertainment
  • 100 vendors with hand-made, home-grown or prepared goods and food
  • YOUR community!
 
Volunteers are needed to help with setup, donation collection, and takedown. Email Jesse at markets@ecosociety.ca to sign up.

Vendors

2013 Market Fest is sold out! Thank you for your interest. 

Market Fest takes up three city blocks and we have room for 100 vendors.  Returning vendors may pre-register by paying in full by May 1. After May 1, festival spots will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Registration is not complete until the spot is paid for. There will be no refunds for cancellations. There will be no new registrations less than one week before the market.

Helpful information for Market Fest vendors.

  • Setup begins no earlier than 5:00pm.
  • Limited power is provided and vendors are required to bring only flourescent or LED lights for your stall. 
  • Please bring an extension cord.  
  • The Market Fest closes at 10:30pm and you must vacate the street by 11:30
If you register and pay to become a vendor, we will contact you with further instructions and your booth location approximately 2 weeks before the market.
