ISO Volunteers for Home Installations!

Two volunteers hold weatherstripping, a shower head and LED light bulb at an installation trainingAre you looking for a flexible volunteering position that has a tangible impact?

Do you like working with a small team of dedicated individuals?

Are you available to help this fall?

If you said yes, this could be for you!

EcoSociety is looking for a few more people to join our Seniors Home Weatherization installation team in Nelson. You’ll get professional training on how to complete the installations, and the opportunity to host a training in your home (which means you get to keep everything we put in!). In the training you’ll learn: how to change a shower head, how to change a faucet aerator, how to install weatherstripping and which kinds are best for which places, how to test hot water temperature and adjust the hot water tank. All materials and tools are provided.

Want to join? Just fill in this form, and we’ll be in touch about upcoming training dates.

Not quite your cup of tea? We’re always happy to have another person to join our outreach team, or feel free to share this information with someone you think might be a fit 🙂
