Speak up for Climate Action in Rossland on July 4

Monday, July 4 @ 6:30pm Rossland Climate Action Town Hall
RSVP
Join your community at the Rossland town hall, hosted by MP Wayne Stetski, on Canada’s climate action plan: Monday July 4 @ 6:30pm at the Prestige Hotel RSVP. The town hall will give residents the opportunity to speak up on Canada’s cliamte plan in 2 min segments. If you live in Rossland, Trail, Castlegar, Grand Forks, the Slocan Valley or anywhere in-between, this town hall is for you. Join us! Let’s get prepared, gather our neighbours, friends and families, and ensure we get 100+ citizens to show our local support for bold climate action at the town hall.

This climate action town hall is part of a cross-country public consultation to collect input from citizens before the Government of Canada releases Canada’s new climate plan in autumn 2016. Join the movement!

Let’s do this West Kootenay style: people of all ages and backgrounds can bring words and visuals to the town hall.

In the photo above, over 240 people came out to the Nelson & Area climate action town hall in May. Let’s make sure the Western side of the West Kootenays has our say in Canada’s climate plan.
